About the Book

Seventeen-year-old Widith Hannah is finishing up a project for her speech class: “The Hunters and the WolfBurnians,” a local legend about a group of hunters and their shapeshifter prey. What she doesn’t know is that this project will change her life. Widith’s life already has some drama. Her relationship with the quarterback of the football team, Dylon Jonson, is strained. And what’s more, Alex Zane, who has had a crush on Widith for a long time, is waiting in the wings. After her speech project, she soon learns that her father is the current head of the Hunters. But even worse, on the night of the full moon, she discovers that she is a WolfBurnian. She is forced to leave her friends and family behind, because if she doesn’t, her own father will kill her. As she finds both allies and enemies among her friends, she knows she will eventually have to face the Hunters—and her father. In this novel, a young woman’s unusual supernatural heritage comes to light and puts her at odds with both her family and her friends.

Brittany Blessing currently works as a deli associate at Walmart. She lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with her dog, Nemo. In her free time, she watches Netflix, collects Harry Potter items, and writes. WolfBurn is her first published book.
