About the Book

This journey takes readers through the many ups and downs of love for a young girl. With each stumble and heartbreak she emerges a stronger and wiser being. She embodies the definition of love. For her love is friend and foe, as it is for many people.

The journey began as a young girl and ends as wonderful woman. A woman that has faced every emotion one could imagine. The emotions displayed are emotions that anyone, be it man or woman can relate to. It is truly a journey of the heart.

About the Author

A.D. Bailey, currently a social worker, has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. She was born and raised in the Midwest but now resides in Houston, Texas with her two sons. She has been a poet for over 15 years, starting around her freshman year of high school.
