About the Book
Life is a journey and not always an easy one. Poet Mamie Harvin Black found triumph over difficulty through the written word, not only via its ability to heal but also by its ability to describe the world and, in so doing, understand the world better. About the Author
Mamie Harvin Black is a new author with a zest for life. As a youngster, she recited short verses with rhythmic expression and soon developed a love for writing poetry. She lived in Washington DC and Maryland for many years but currently resides in Texas.
