When I was in my first grade class. I overheard my classmate talking about her father being in the motel businesses who also owns a whole franchise of twenty seven motels through out the South East states. And this classmate was also overhearing a conversation about how Hanna’s dad Frank, only hired white employees through out all his motels. Hanna, father Frank, never did go to hire one white employee just as a maid, housekeeper, or janitor, for any of the bathrooms dining room lobbies or pool decks on any of his properties through out the South East States. It's a shame how people can be so prejudice even against their own skin and prejudice against their own blood. The behavior that was overheard in Hanna’s school class was that how her dad Frank, has seen blacks so negative and looking down at them like their hopeless, worthless, meaningless like blacks who are suppose to be dumb with no common sense at all as down and out.

About the Author
Tammy Ann Williams, a native of South Florida, was raised by her grandmother and learned about discrimination at an early age, being shunned by her father. She is also the author of My Stepmother is an Alien, which is a semiautobiographical account of her challenging childhood.
