In Due Time

Nina honestly was an issue he had not dealt with, the heartbreak and the admission that he was bitter. Would he be ready to even face his part he played in the lose of her? Would he be able to love another the way they deserved to be loved or would he just keep running? Running into a women like Mel who made him feel there was hope and lose her like he lost Nina because of his failure to finally commit totally in marriage. Would he let his past keep him from love again? Would he finally face the fact that his father whom he had not seen in the number of years and he chose not to remember was the reason he feared commitment? He gave Nina everything in the world but himself, completely. Nina was now married and no chance they would ever be a couple again, it was time to let her go forever. He looked up at the ceiling as the tears began to roll down the sides of his face. All the love songs he wrote, produced and sang now meant nothing to him at this moment. He sang of love forever, wrote of how to make her your lady and produced ballads for wedding songs. All his works were geared towards love and now he was searching the answer to the pain he felt from love. What was he to do now? Stop and start over or choose one of the women in his life now. The running was getting old and all he wanted was companionship now but like a hairball stuck in his throat...marriage would have to come to pass or he would be right here again.
