About the Book

Sometimes in life, we must find a way to keep moving, even when our backs are against the wall.
That is where Randomtivity begins.
A random moment, a sudden decision, an unexpected word or an event can push us toward a direction we never knew existed. A new outlook appears. A different road opens. And at that moment, the opportunity is ours to take.
Abandoning the ordinary can lead to incredible experiences. It can also make you seem unpredictable, unconventional, or simply “too much” for the people around you. But when we take meaningful action, change becomes inevitable.
Randomtivity is a journey through one man’s life and the decisions, adventures, mistakes, and moments that sometimes take decades to fully understand.
These are real stories pulled from the grand archive of the author’s life—some humorous, some unusual, some difficult, and many far outside the norm.
Somewhere within them, you may recognize moments from your own life when something random quietly changed your direction.

About the Author

Jason Barrett, originally from Northern Ontario, lives as a digital nomad in the Caribbean. He has spent his life collecting stories, chasing adventures, and starting more than a few three-quarter-finished projects along the way.
