About the Book

1928 was the year I was born. I was three months old when my first picture was taken. Now my true story begins at four years of age. I can remember an incident when I was playing with my friend. We had wandered off to the water front. Unknown to us, our parents were in deep distress. That was the beginning of my life as a child. From now on you will discover life through the eyes of a child.

About the Author

Dinah Day was born in Aberdeen, Scotland into a humble family. She attended school there through World War II, an event that provided the memories of her childhood years. Dinah has published two books: The Stroke of Happiness and Garden of Reflections.
