The Organ Donor Process

Allegedly, a national and global crisis exists revolving around inconsistencies in the organ donation and transplantation health and medical industry. The upcoming chapters from my research will show attributing factors to the organ donation and transplantation current situation and prove there are major challenges that require immediate attention. Organ donation and transplantation has become a global concern with different viewpoints questioned and unanswered by the church, religions, governments, and the people. There are various concerns that pose significant challenges in the health and medical industry regarding organ donation and major transplantation that include heart, kidneys, lungs, liver, and pancreas which are at the very top of the global waiting list. Above all, supply and demand around the world is critically unbalanced and health and medical researchers are desperately trying to figure out ways to engage this crisis. Furthermore, the supply equaling the demand is constantly increasing with growing in terms of the recipient waiting list and a stalled donor acquisition list. More contributing factors to the unbalanced supply and demand are culturally; people are not equipped with the information needed to make a conclusive decision in favor of organ donation and transplantation. In this case, one concern remains attached to the other, as the next major challenge is the lack of national and global educational programs developed and administered to the public that teaches society about the health and medical importance of organ donation and transplantation. The shortage of education and information administered to the public regarding organ donation and transplantation processes and procedures adversely affect culturally every society on the planet with the majority statistically unsettled with supporting a life saving initiative, which also negatively influences all the other conditions and concerns. My findings will prove the processes and procedures have become overwhelming severe nationally and globally because of the bias behavior and foul play by some organizations and the absence of protocols that support established ethics in place to guard against breaking the rules. The resources utilized for this research consist of the following criteria which covers eligibility of organ donors, the donor-recipient authorization process, agencies authorized for procurement, regulations for prioritizing candidates, age differences, gender distinction, quality, quantity, and at what level does diversity influence the decision-making as far as global continuity and discretion. The focus is on the entire scope of what, when, where, how, and why it takes place in the health and medical world of organ donation and transplantation. I am Jared Edison, a student of Walden University and a scholarly practitioner pursuing a graduate degree in the Management Masters Science Leadership (MMSL) program. My testable predictions is based on the innovative ideals and technological disciplines incorporated with the practices acquired through extensive study in leadership, which has prepared me academically, and professionally to ascertain vital health and medical data about organ donation and transplantation and the effects on the public.
