Who the heck are you anyway? I don’t remember you introducing yourself to me. But, then again, I really don’t remember much of anything. For some strange reason I know that I should remember a lot, but I can’t recall a thing right now. Is that normal for someone my age? How old am I anyway?
And why in the world are you continuing to stare at me like that? Your eyes are huge and brown…or blue? Maybe that color is green? I can’t tell from way down here. Are they circular or elliptical? Does it really make any difference?
And where the heck am I…are we anyway? Am I still on earth? For some reason I do know that I should be on a planet called earth, and I’m probably there because the air I’m breathing seems normal…whatever that is. Can’t anybody give me some answers to my most pressing questions in my greatest time of need? Or is it my time of greatest need? Who knows?

About the Book
This is the unusual story of a young lad who grows up in Alaska with his life dominated by dreams of playing hockey in the National Hockey League. His family and friends and home town all lend helping hands, but he has to battle on all levels past a personal adversary who tries to block him with every step. Only in the final chapter can we measure the success or failure of our young hero's life.
About the Author
James Wollrab has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He played shortstop in the A's and Giant's farm systems. He has authored over 50 scientific papers and published a science book on microwave spectrocopy. He practiced law in Missouri and Illinois and has published over ten novels.
