About the Author
Mrs. Veronica Jones was born and raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She is a fifty-six-year-old wife, mother, first lady, and aspiring poet. She is married to Dr. Jesse D. Jones, Jr., Pastor of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist church, Ridgeway, Virginia. She is the mother of three grown children-Eurika, Reginald, and Michael (deceased), two beautiful grandchildren-Imani and Khalil whom she adores.
Veronica loves to cook, decorate and read. Her love for writing manifested itself in her ability to write poetry. Thus, the desire to write a book of poetry became a goal. Much of her poetry expresses events and situations in her everyday faith journey.
