About the Book

In these short stories Dan Pukstas presents realities that are often on the edge of our expectations. If the reader is looking for a fictional pitch that is down the center of the plate, he will often be disappointed. Some of these stories are semi-autobiographical; others are pure fantasy. All of them feature a glib pointedness that is so much a part of Dan’s prose style.

About the Author

Dan Pukstas is Professor of English at Tompkins Cortland Community College. Although blind, he has written numerous books as well as several plays. Dan and his wife travel extensively, and he draws inspiration from other blind figures such as Homer, Tiresias, and Milton.
