She left me sitting on the couch, walking toward her son she lift him up, hugged and gentle kissed him, while she took him back to his room, placing her son on his bed, and sang a lullaby that gently soothed him as he fell asleep. On returning she tried to continued, where we had left off, but the passion and fire that was burning within us fizzled. We sat and talked for a while attempting to rekindle what we lost back to life but it was no use.
It was getting late and knew I would have to leave soon, to catch my flight later that night for home California where my wife and children were waiting; it was just past eleven pm when I arrived at the airport and had half an hour to check in before my flight left for home. After checking in I called Didi as promised, but she did not answer the phone, maybe she was mad with me for leaving, but I had also promised my wife, I would be home and on that flight.

This book gives the reader some understanding a broken marriage does not happen to them alone, it happens to the best of us, if reading the book the characters jump out at you then you can relate to that individual.
About the Author
Adrian Hamilton was born in Grenville, Grenada in 1944, educated at Holy Cross College in Trinidad, moved to the United States, August of 1970, and attended Brooklyn Community College, moved to Hamilton Ontario, Canada in August of 1974, attended Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario, after graduating worked with the physically challenged, furthering his education he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Grief Counseling, after retiring completed his first book in 2012. He wrote many unpublished poems within those years and hopes to publish them in the future. He has two children, three grandchildren and a great grandson. He comes from a family consisting of three brothers, and four sisters. His interest are fishing, hiking and walking. He now resides in the City of Mississauga Ontario Canada
