About the Author

Wendi Bird Barnhart was born, raised and still resides in Cape Girardeau,MO. She has a grown daughter, a dog and two parakeets. On November 30, 2004, she had three brain aneurysms burst. The third and largest was the size of a golf ball. Two days after her aneurysm clipping, her brain began swelling and leaking blood. She suffered a paralyzing stroke on that day, December 3, 2004. She walked out of that hospital on December 29, 2004, with no assistance whatsoever. It took her awhile to regroup, but when she did, she came out strong. She wrote her first book, Until Now, an autobiography in poetry form. That book was difficult to write, due to the subject matter. She decided to have fun and she has. Wendi Bird Barnhart’s titles include Until Now, Cognitive Conclusions, Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Read Poetry, You Know I Do It Write, Giving The World ‘The Bird’, I know now.....at least I think I do and Cesspool of Wisdom.
