The book A Real Policeman II is essentially a collection of short vignettes of real police adventures in the Oklahoma City Police Department that occurred from the 1960s to the 1980s. The viewpoint is that of a patrolman or detective during that era and is a recreation of s a street cop's journal if he had kept one. It includes some candid statements from a retired OCPD officer that can be transposed to almost any police officer in any city or jurisdiction in the country. It lets you inside the cop's car, heart and head.

About the Author
Serving over thirty years in five different decades with the OPCD, Ron Owens spent over 18 years in the patrol and detective cruisers he writes about including assignments in Homicide, Sex Crimes, Special Projects, Narcotics, Criminal Intelligence/Gang Enforcement and Tactical Team Hostage Negotiations. He retired as a Captain in 2000.
