About the Book

Follow the story of Paul Carloss as he is born in England and follows his father’s military career to Egypt and military bases in England prior to and during WWII. As a young man he trains as a mining Engineer at the Camborne School of Mines. His bride follows him to Africa where they are married and have their children. His career path takes him to four continents rising to the top of his profession. On retirement he and his wife, their friends and family sail the oceans of the world. He is now in his late eighties and he currently lives on Manitoulin Island with the love of his life, wife Corinne. Enjoy reading this excellent memoir of an extraordinary man and his incredible life journey!
