About the Author

Major (Ret.) Scott Meehan, currently teaching computer studies at Keiser University in Orlando, Florida, is completing his doctoral dissertation in Organization Management. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended 12 schools, public and private, throughout the United States and South America. Scott served a tour of duty in Berlin, Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm and two tours of duty in Iraq where he received a Bronze Star for his actions in 2003-2004. Scott’s military career spanned 25 years (1980-2005) that included seven years as an enlisted Combat Medic, nine years as a military intelligence officer, and six years in the acquisition field. He attended Florida Southern's ROTC program for two years between his enlisted and commission transition and then retired with honors in 2005.
