About the Book

Poetry is the art of written expression that can only be enjoyed by those who read it and write it. No other art form can quite fully move you as when you read, write, or experience a poem. Poetry gives definition and creative flavor to the human experience. All humans throughout the past and up to this very day have found many ways to express their emotions and feelings. Poetry is one manifested, expressed way to do so.

About the Author

Zyon Smiley has been writing poetry for over 29 years and is the author of two other published books of poetry. In addition, he is a full-time social studies teacher of 13 years and is a staff writer for the Savannah Tribune newspaper in Savannah, Georgia. He has covered many stories and has written many articles for the paper over the past 15 years. Smiley and his wife Sharon have two children.
