About the Book

How is the angst of a middle-aged, widowed law professor converted to the resilience necessary to proceed with life? What—and how many—resources must he employ to cope with the numerous pitfalls of student restiveness, faculty deception and backbiting, and the unexpected perils of renewed romantic passion? Can life begin at forty-eight?
