Mireille Perrotte est née à St Malo, Bretagne, France et a émigré aux États-Unis à vingt ans. Elle est diplômée de l’Université de Floride, (Gainesville) et possède un Bachelor of Arts en français, avec un certificat en russe et allemand, et une Maîtrise en Linguistique.

Elle a enseigné au secondaire vingt ans aux États-Unis. (En Floride et au Maryland). En 1985, elle a enseigné à l’école anglaise/hollandaise à Jeddah en Arabie Saoudite, où elle a développé une méthode pour apprendre le français à travers la poésie. Les étudiants étaient enchantés d’acquérir si facilement et rapidement un vocabulaire substantiel.

Depuis sa retraite de l’enseignement, Mme Perrotte prend plaisir à voyager et écrit poèmes et nouvelles sur ses expériences.

Mireille Perrotte was born in St Malo, Brittany, France, and emigrated to the United States at the age of twenty, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in French, with minors in Russian and German, and a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

She taught high school for twenty years in the U.S. (Florida and Maryland) and, in1985, taught French at the British/Dutch Preparatory School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There, she developed a method of teaching French through poetry, to the delight of her students, who acquired a substantial French vocabulary quickly and easily.

Since retiring from teaching, Ms. Perrotte indulges her love of travel and writes stories and poetry about her experiences.
