Posing for My Father spans my first twenty years, up to the time my parents and I published a book together, and I left L.A. Along the way I met many well-known people, from Alfred Hitchcock to Charlie Manson. My diaries and hundreds of photographs have helped me relive and now share memories of a golden time gone by.

About the Author
Mary Lee Gowland is the author of three poetry books and a book of creative writing exercises for children. A life-long Californian, she moved to Kerrville, Texas in 2010 with her husband, dog and two cats. She writes for local magazines, teaches and is the founder of Hill Country Poets.
