About the Author
Dr. Akeam Simmons is a native of Florida, but has resided in Alabama for over 30 years. He is highly educated and has doctorate degrees in two disciplines. He has pastored for 32 years at various churches. Dr. Simmons is the author of nine other books-including the thrilling series novels: Jailhouse Grace, Tomorrow's Grace, and now, Grace and a Thug. He is also a well known Poet, and has written two books of poetry-Riding on the Wind, and Black Tears. He has three daughters and a grand daughter-Nene, Keke, Taylor, and Markayla.
