About the Book

Dorea E. Ross Arguelles’s memoir is one of hope and courage.

In Adventures Walking on Water, she recounts many of the events that she has experienced in a life full of challenges, revealing the power of familial support and faith in God during the good times and the bad.

Dorea grew up in a large Southern family with all its rewards and demands. Her family dealt with divorce, suicide and a major natural disaster. Dorea and her husband started their family with adoption. Years later and five children she was blessed with a miracle pregnancy. Dorea endured the deaths of her husband and of their twelve-year-old son, following his two-year struggle with cancer. Through it all, Dorea depended upon her faith to carry her through life’s trials.

Adventures Walking on Water is Dorea’s story of perseverance as she encountered many obstacles in her life, and it serves to inspire others to overcome in the face of tragedy.

About the Author

Dorea E. Ross Arguelles is a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, and she currently lives in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. She teaches art at a private grade school and enjoys gardening, cooking, pottery, and stained glass. Dorea has taught basket weaving and has sold her organic baskets locally.
