Pilates Babel

Pilates’ city was a sprawling urban community off the east coast of the United States with a population of around two hundred and fifty thousand people. It was located just on the outer rim of North Carolina. Hyperion’s elevation was similar to the other cities in the surrounding area and was nestled between Durham, Fayetteville, Wilmington and Greenville. It was directly centered in the midst of these cities. It was long storied that it had an ideal climate most of the seasons in comparison to the droughts and floods and hurricanes that afflicted this area at certain times of the year. You might still find bits and traces of the locale and its culture and customs if you know where and how to look for it. Its name has not been recalled or spoken by residents of the adjoining communities for many years in recent memory. Maybe its name has been forgotten by design or by necessity; either way, Pilates has just begun to set into motion the huge cogs that turn the wheels of what must be.
