About the Author

Reginald Walter Sykes Sr. earned a degree in business from Southern University in New Orleans, and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, proudly served in Vietnam in 1967-‘68 with H-Troop 17th Armored Cavalry, and is now retired after nearly thirty-nine years of supervisory and management experience in the water transportation industry. Sykes and his wife, JoAnne, have five children. He lives in Savannah, Georgia.
