About the Book
“New York City is an eclectic melting pot of people in search of opportunities for a better life. It has one of the largest and most important Jewish communities in America. Surprisingly, most people are unaware of this community’s origins. Where did the first immigrants come from? These immigrants laid the foundation for what is today the Jewish community of New York.”
