About the Author
Political activist, poet, and educator Sheree McLaughlin brings new dimensions to self-confidence and respect. As the owner of Embrace the Rock L3c, a community-based organization in Detroit, Sheree strives to promote education through the written and spoken word. With fifteen-plus years as a political analyst, Sheree is the chairwoman of Greater Christ Baptist Church Political and Social Action Ministry in Detroit Michigan. As the former chairwoman of the Educational Committee with the Detroit Association of Women’s Club Inc., Sheree encouraged young women and men to develop skills toward living productive lives.
A graduate of Wayne State University, Sheree displays her passion for politics through forums that address the opinions and analyses of local and global political issues. As co-host of the Prospector Reveals Radio Program, Sheree has made it her personal mission to be a transmitter for social change for those voices that have become silenced.
Her motto is “Be not oppressed.”
