We can plainly see that the world is influencing the church much more than the church is influencing the world. In fact, more and more things of the world are being tolerated and accepted within the church, as stated earlier, while Christianity is being less and less tolerated in the world. The Body has more worldly problems then spiritual problems because it is trying to understand our spiritual GOD with mankind’s wisdom and it has for a long time been welcoming in worldly ideas and values. Our battle should be with that of the spiritual realm(Eph.6:12) but instead we are fighting worldly battles within the Body like; homosexuality, pedophilia, teen pregnancy, divorce, abuse, jealousy, quarreling, adultery, drugs…etc, etc, etc. Are these not worldly problems? Since they are, doesn’t it scream at the top of it’s lungs that the Body is conducting itself and being lead by mere men? And thus, today’s Body is not only full of, but also being lead by mere infants, immature and still needing milk, when by now it should be feeding insatiably on the meat. (I-Cor.3:1-3, Heb.5:11-14)----- There are three baptisms, each with their own purpose and function, and three different entities which perform these baptisms. Water Baptism: Without a doubt the most well known and widely accepted form of baptism. It is administered by mankind and is an outward expression of an inward change, to show the world ones compunction and repentance of their past life and a declaration of a life now devoted to the teachings of CHRIST JESUS. Holy Spirit Baptism: Almost as well known however not nearly as spoken about or taught as water baptism. It is performed by CHRIST JESUS to empower, supernaturally, those who follow HIM and obey HIM with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, so that they may live and serve this life effectually. Shed Blood Baptism: Sadly, this baptism is almost never taught because a very very large majority of preachers, teachers and laity don’t even know it exists, yet every Christian experiences it and, without knowing, speaks about it. It is that “born again experience”, procreation anew from above. It makes one part of the body of CHRIST and is performed by the HOLY SPIRIT. (I-Cor.12:13, Matt.3:11, Mark 1:4, Acts 1:5, Acts 19:1-4) Now some teach that there are many more baptisms, such as baptisms of tongues, healing, giving and prophecy. What is being mistaken here is that those things listed are not baptisms but gifts. These will be covered, GOD willing, in a later study. However, Water Baptism, Holy Spirit Baptism and Shed Blood Baptism are the only baptisms that stand firm against the Word of GOD. All are vital, but one comes first, without this one, the others are rendered useless.

Then the Laity will become more noble in character as were the Bereans, and with maturity, combine their faith with the Word allowing them to recognize when the leaders teach in ignorance of the Word. (acts 17:11, Heb. 4:2).
Our Lord’s Beacon: The Elementary Teachings of Christ Jesus digs into the fundamental teachings of the doctrine of Christ Jesus. Many writings about the basics of Christianity have been published but without full knowledge of these six elementary truths, while using the meat of God’s Word, full maturity un a Christian’s life will never be attained. If we as Christians are stuck in the milk, in God’s eyes we are still yet infants since we are not yet acquainted with the teachings of the righteous. Furthermore, solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. One cannot use/digest solid food until one can fully digest the milk, and only if God permits it. (Heb. 5:13-14).
Is today’s church truly mature? Can today’s church possibly be conducting itself and understanding good and evil as an infant, using only the milk of God’s Word? Is the world influencing the church more than the church is influencing the world? Can everything in today’s church be traced back to The Elementary Teachings of Christ Jesus?
