Reiki Awakening

My Reiki Awakening started with a disease, or should I say two diseases. I enjoyed excellent health until age 50. My wife and I live across the street from the ocean. We skied out West, traveled to Europe, cycled, did yoga and surfed. I had a successful construction company. We were living the good life. In 2004, I started having health problems. The first symptom was fatigue, then joint pain, neurological issues and finally intestinal pain. I saw many doctors trying to determine what was happening. They said I was in perfect health and not to worry.

Just before Christmas in 2004 I was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, a rare neurological disease inherited from my mother. I was told there was no cure. As bad as this news was, at least I finally knew the cause of my problems. It made sense. A diagnosis of HD explained why I was feeling so awful. As you can imagine I became depressed and started planning my bucket list.

Fortunately the universe (God) led me to an Angel of a doctor. She told me my symptoms had nothing to do with my genetic disease but with Lyme. I said, “What’s Lyme ?” She said it was an infection transmitted by a tick bite. My blood test for Lyme disease came back positive. Lucky me. I HAD LYME. I can fight Lyme disease. I can beat Lyme disease. Imagine being happy having a diagnosis of Lyme. What wonderful news for me. HD was down the road.

One disease at a time please!

I started my Lyme journal in 2004 to keep track of my progress. It took me three years to get well. I started with a year of oral ABX drugs. Then my doctor put me on a year of IV ABX. Still sick after two years of treatment I stopped the IV treatment and tried a Rife machine, a device using frequency technology to kill the Lyme spirochetes. Within twelve months I was well. All my symptoms disappeared. I was healthy. The Rife machine saved my life. I wanted to help others beat Lyme disease. My path ahead was clear.

Reiki also played an integral part in my recovery from Lyme disease. My Reiki Awakening allowed me to download divine light on a daily basis. What more could a sick person need? Is there anything better than Divine Light? It boosted my immune system and healed me on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The combination of Rife technology and Reiki healed me. Years later I asked my spiritual teacher Ivo, “Could Reiki have cured me by itself?” He said, “Absolutely, but that was not your path.” I needed both Rife and Reiki to get well. Now I have more to offer to the world. Both are valuable tools for fighting Lyme disease.

I am so lucky and blessed to be well. Lyme disease was the vehicle my soul chose to learn and grow. My disease enabled me to evolve on many levels. Here is what I learned:

* The end game is a planet of enlightened souls.
