About the Author

M. Claire Harley earned her bachelor’s degree in English from George Mason University. Every year she spends several weeks in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, a beautiful area that has captured her heart and inspires her work. She lives with her husband near the Occoquan River in Northern Virginia.
