Joy Nwosu Lo-Bamijoko is a professionally trained operatic soprano, music educator, music critic, African ethnomusicologist, broadcaster, skits writer, choral conductor, and songwriter. Joy Nwosu was trained in operatic soprano in Italy and received her Ph.D. in music from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; making her the second Nigerian female to earn a doctorate in music. About the Author
Godwin Sadoh is an African ethnomusicologist, intercultural musicologist, composer, church musician, pianist, organist, choral conductor, and a prolific publishing scholar with over 90 publications including 8 books. His compositions have been performed and recorded worldwide. Sadoh is the first African to receive a doctoral degree in organ performance from any institution in the world. Sadoh has taught at numerous institutions including the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Pittsburgh. He was appointed Professor of Music in 2007. Sadoh’s biography is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Education, and Who’s Who in the World.
