About the Book
Clips in Time is filled with true events of a woman’s journey through life. A small-town girl, an identical twin, faces unexpected, dramatic challenges, yet perseveres through teen pregnancy and marriage, to having a successful career, to becoming homeless and learning to get back to the basics of life, eventually leading to a life as a writer, a mountaineer, and a teacher. It is a collection of organic essays and emotional poetry that will make you laugh and cry out loud.
About the Author
Julie Lilienkamp resides in beautiful Hayden Lake, Idaho with her family and Beagle, Daisy, where she enjoys adventure writing, biking, hiking, snowboarding, camping, golfing, and mountaineering. She has two grown children, who are now both married, and she has recently become a grandma. Julie is an English Major graduate of the University of Idaho, Moscow, Idaho, where she earned her Bachelor of Language Arts and Social Sciences Degree. She had earned her Associates Degree in 2004 at North Idaho College and certified in Mountaineering the same year. She is currently teaching at a private school in Spokane, WA and writing an historical fiction, Sapphire and a children’s book, Daisy Tales. She has published articles for Climbing Magazine, “Amongst the Chaos,” and “Amongst the Chaos II, Island Peak and Mt. Everest.” She has small publications in Poigod Literary Magazine and Wattpad (www.wattpad.com), and Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living Magazine (April 2012 Issue), for Bozzi Publishing.
