Following a 26-year career as an investigative reporter, Anne E. Schwartz was appointed Communications Director for the Milwaukee Police Department in 2004. She frequently speaks and shares her expertise with national audiences on the subject of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and how media have changed the way law enforcement messages news of a serial killer to its communities. She is a nationally recognized trainer and public speaker on the subject of strategic media and critical incident communication for law enforcement and public safety professionals. Anne created and hosts the TV show "CrimeLine" on Time Warner Cable, featuring discussions on law enforcement topics. She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
