The curriculum presented in this book is designed for toddler’s ages 1-2 years of age. Children ages 2-3 years old may also benefit from this curriculum; depending on their knowledge of the material presented. A Time for Preschool is split into sections depicting each day of the week and provides a focus for a particular subject on each day. The book begins with a note to the parents, a list of quick tips, and then an overview of the curriculum. Each section provides an objective page, a ‘how to’ section and a checklist that is relevant to that particular subject. Additional material is included at the end of the book that provides age appropriate games to play, arts and crafts and optional materials to purchase or make.

About the Author

Susan Sellmeyer was born in 1976 and grew up on a small farm in eastern Kansas. Susan attended college at a junior college near Kansas City earning two degrees in Information Technology. Later becoming a mother of a premature child, Susan strived to learn everything she could about brain development and how the brain forms. When her daughter was one year old, Susan began work to design a preschool curriculum to teach her daughter basic preschool material at a very young age. Susan customized the material to fit the needs of her young child and a busy working mother’s schedule while still pursing a full time career in Information Technology. Today Susan is still teaching her daughter and striving to give her daughter every educational opportunity she can.
