In the story “Bikers Take on the McKenzie,” the Ready Ryder gang goes white-water rafting. But there’s a tiny problem: one of them can’t swim. In “The Wedding,” step inside a true redneck wedding on a side-splitting adventure to eastern Oregon. It’s not all laughs on the highway, though; some parts of the trip are emotional, life-changing, and completely unexpected. Come along for the engine-revving ride with six friends whose lives change forever on one cross-country trip. Through the epic Sturgis, South Dakota, rally with over a million riders, to camping by a forest fire in Oregon, the camaraderie never stops. Although the character names have been changed, all the stories are true, as are the friendships developed, memories made, and Harley bikes broken in!

About the Author

Rose M. Singhose was first introduced to the Harley culture in 1966. She met her husband, Jim—also a Harley-Davidson enthusiast—in 1971. They married after only three dates and have been getting into crazy adventures ever since. When not out riding, they live near Cottage Grove, Oregon.
