As the title suggests, the information presented is randomly organized and is meant to serve as an inspirational reference book. The thousands of entries are designed to inspire deeper thinking and inward reflection, with many offering a healthy dose of wit and humor as well.

About the Author

Russell Gerald Johnston, was born August 1, 1925 in the county of Hastings, Ontario. He joined the First Canadian Parachute Battalion during the World War II, and later married and had seven children. A successful general contractor and avid golfer, his true passion was reading. In his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, he read thousands of books on an incredible range of subjects, all the while taking notes on the facts and insights from each book that intrigued him most. This book is a collection of the thousands of handwritten notes he took and collected over a 60-year period. He spent much of his final years painstakingly transcribing and organizing his notes electronically so the publishing of this book could be possible.
