About the Book

This is the second book of poetry by Andre V.A Georges, a young poet who is already upon the scene. Andre’s unique voice is a blend of Haitian, American, and student. He tells stories of love and struggle, of politics and promise. His poetry is both passionate and poignant, and it will make you believe in the triumph and enduring quality of youth.

About the Author

Andre Georges grew up in Jacmel, Haiti. After attending both preschool and middle school in his native country, he moved to the United States at the age of fifteen to continue with his education “in the Washington, DC suburb of Silver Spring, MD.” He graduated from Montgomery Blair High School, where he was inspired to write his first book of poetry “Second Reflection”. He is now a business major at Montgomery College, Takoma Park MD. This is his second book of poetry.
