One More Challenge-The Story Of The Willits Family

We didn’t start out to have sixteen kids, they just kinda came along! We both knew we wanted a large family, (in the 70’s & 80’s a large family was 6-7 kids!) I had a good job and my wife was a good mother. We bought our first house before we were married, (but didn’t live together until after the wedding). It all seemed so natural. When our first child came along everything went very easy-easy for me to say anyway-I didn’t give birth! My wife Carole handled that quite well. We had a child a year for the next four years after Chris our first son was born. We had five kids in five years! Then in 1982 we were about to face our first in a long series of challenges that would change our lives forever. Through a process of change that involves faith, hope, and love, we would overcome this, and all of the other challenges that would come before us. Ultimately these changes have made us a stronger family with a very large support network. We are pleased to share our story with you.
