An inspirational true story about the life experiences of a young boy growing up in Waukegan, Illinois.

About the Author

I feel everyone should leave a legacy for their children and grandchildren. Not everyone gets the opportunity to write their story, however, I feel, at my ripe age of 82, that I needed to do something to leave behind. Writing my life story is how I feel I can leave my legacy. I am proud that I served in the United States Army and had the opportunity to travel the world. I also am proud that I was married to the same woman for 48 years and suffered such grief with her passing. However I found peace and tranquility attending grief counseling sessions and started to begin to live my life again, when there are so many widows who fail to believe that there is life after a loss of their loved one. My book talks about my loss in hope that others may be inspired to live again. I found love again in my 70's and have retired in Sun City Grand, Arizona.
