The Day Before The Championship, Michael stepped inside his locker room. Tomorrow he would line up here with the rest of his teammates. They would have their ankles taped and egos primed. Their football season had been long, grimy, and victorious.
But now, standing in dim lighting, Michael felt a creeping doubt. Could he win this big game?
A swinging ceiling lamp cast moving shadows on the walls. But fragments of thoughts were flooding his mind…memories of lost games.
He loved to play football, where he pushed himself to the very edge.
He walked toward a corner and stood in shadow. The smell of rubbing alcohol was strong. A padded cot was near. Tomorrow he could become a legend.
The room’s door opened and a breeze blew in. It forced the ceiling lamp to sway at odd angles. It was Paula standing there, casting a shadow on the wall.
She offered her mouth. He reached toward her breasts, reached her neck and she swayed in dizzy fashion.
He undressed her, letting her clothes fall simply to the floor. And then she stood before him, naked!
She rubbed firm nipples against his chest. She dared his passion to show.
He laid her on the cot. He stroked her hair.
He touched her strangely---at times fierce, like a cat. Indeed he was ‘her’ Golden Panther. Her jungle was his to roam.
