About the Book
The descriptions of the author’s young life growing up in the late 1940’s and early to mid-1950’s in various parts of Philadelphia will keep readers attention and bring to light some of the happenings particular to that era and place. Goldman depicts his early youth detailing the locale, his homes and surroundings, as well as some of his encounters - some whimsical, some serious. He provides impressions of an independent mind making observations of his surroundings and events as a boy.
About the Author
Stephen Goldman is both a technical and non-technical writer. He grew up in post World War II Philadelphia and is a product of the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating from one of the highest ranked high schools in the country - Central High School of Philadelphia - and attended two universities in the Philadelphia area. Having grown up in the latter part of the 20th century, he has witnessed the rapid growth and knowledge of technology expand and make the world an incredible place to live.
Mr. Goldman enjoys story telling and reminiscing about the slower-paced days gone by while keeping abreast of the events in the these fast-paced technical times. He lives with his wife in West Chester, PA, which is both a college town and the county seat of Chester County. He has enjoyed an interesting and varied career path and is currently a Computer Systems Validation Subject Matter Expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
