About the Author

From Lima, Ohio, and a graduate from Shawnee High School, Evyn V. Kelley is an ordinary woman trying to make it on her own in today’s falling economy. Her spiritual gifts, brilliant visions, and great mentors gave her great inspiration for her novel From Darkness into Light. In this great novel, she gives a new insight to the meaning of heaven and hell. Evyn comes from a generational line of deacons within her family. Her father, Al Kelley, was a deacon at a local church that her family attended. He taught her how to focus on the righteous, and how to endure life’s trials as a woman of faith. Evyn has continuously applied her knowledge of scripture to her life trials, and to the best has tried to stay focused on the righteous as her father has taught her. Evyn has always known in her heart that she wanted to reach out to others who endure similar life struggles. By becoming an author, and using her two passions in life, writing and spirituality, she has given the public a chance to see that they are not alone, and making her dream a reality. Evyn is a mother of two small children, and her goal is to teach them the same focus that was passed on to her by her father and help them to apply the same faith to their lives.
