About the Book

Ralph Barns leads an easy and simple life—or so he thinks. With the perfect home, a nice job, a devoted wife, and three beautiful daughters, Ralph seems to have it all. Unfortunately Ralph is never satisfied and his life is about to change for the worse as a result.

After he begins an affair with coworker Kim Jenkins, Ralph realizes that even though she is a lovely woman, he is still in love with his wife, Liz. After he ends the relationship with Kim, who happens to be madly in love with him, Ralph starts to wonder if maybe Kim is just a tiny bit crazy. Little does he know that she is a schizophrenic who refuses to take her medicine. Kim is about to unleash her anger onto an innocent world with the help of Larry, her delusional pet bird. After a girl disappears, the town’s water supply is poisoned, and Kim’s ex-husband is murdered, novice Sheriff Deidra Coates steps in to attempt to solve the mysterious cases with the help of newfound psychic, Maggie Stokes.

In this gripping thriller, a chilling chain of events ensues after love goes wrong. Only time will tell if a novice sheriff can solve the mystery before another victim falls prey to a psychopath and her evil bird.

About the Author

Colie Moore Jr. reside in Greenville,NC. But Moore grew up in the rural town of Blount’s Creek, North Carolina. He attended Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Western International University in Phoenix, Arizona. Now a bilateral above-the-knee amputee, Cj is learning to walk again. This is his debut novel.
