This tale of friendship stars a snowman who goes in search of Spring. Along the way, he meets many forest friends who each describe spring as they know it.
About the Author
Amanda has been making stories since kindergarten lovingly stapled between wallpaper sample pieces. However, It wasn’t until she won her school’s St. Patrick’s Day contest in Grade 4 that she really started to delve into writing. After that, she was rarely seen without a pencil and paper handy.
She’s had both a poem and short story published with the Poetry Institute of Canada but has always wanted to have one of her children’s books out there. The Spring Snowman is one of her first original creations.
Besides writing, Amanda enjoys reading, sketching real life and spending time with family and friends.
Amanda lives in Moose Jaw, SK and visits her local library quite often.
