About the Author

JEFFREY VASKE graduated from Grand View University in 2007 with a perfect 4.0 grade point average while earning both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in History. As an undergraduate, he also participated in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program, and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Army Medical Department for eight years, both on active duty and in the Reserves. In 2013, he graduated from American Public University with a Master of Arts in American History, maintaining a 4.0 grade point average and earning a "pass with distinction" on his final comprehensive exam. He currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Jeannine, and son, Mason.
