About the Book

Some of the saints of old we know little about and others we know much. But, we do know that the high esteem in which these men and women were held by their contemporaries and in which they have been held down to the present day, attests to the heroic quality of their saintliness. We can learn something from their lives.

About the Author

Patrick Coffey was born and grew up in England. He joined the British Navy and served during and after World War II. Afterward, he earned a medical degree, married, and immigrated to Canada with his wife. Now a retired general surgeon, he lives with his wife on the shores of Lake Ontario in Ontario, Canada; they have five children and ten grandchildren.
