Remembrance - Meaningful Memories That Endear and Endure Trapped in their confinement, burdened by infirmity, isolated from family and friends, it is a doleful place with no escape. So I open the window of fleeting freedom. To provide momentarily, tendrils of Youth and Love and Happiness. To gently squeeze their hearts, lift their spirits and bring the warmth of a smile. I take them back on Gossamer Wings and for a moment, I stir their memories and make them young again. I bring a Ray of Sun, the blossom of flowers, the song of birds, and the rhyme of the poet inside their rooms.

He joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served in the South Pacific (1943-46) aboard the U.S.S. Whitney. His ship was cited with a Letter of Commendation by Admiral William “Bull” Halsey, Commander of the 7th Fleet. (Picture) Lt. Carol Hart Stanley U.S. Army - Served during the Korean War (1953-56), as an Occupational Therapist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. and at Brooke Army Hospital, Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Note: It was a difficult courtship. Being a former enlisted man, I had to salute my future wife before I could kiss her.
