About the Author

John W. Tharp’s family was active in missionary work across the United States and in Haiti, which inspired him to earn a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies. He served in the army, retiring as a captain; his travels have brought him vital insights during his decades of religious studies. He currently lives in Oklahoma.
