About the Book

Life in a small town like Indian Mound should be simple, uncomplicated but when Cole comes home after four years to face old pain of losing his blood brother, old mysteries and a new crime wave of drug dealing that has settled in. Cole never forgot the past or the way he had left his chosen mate and everything else he loved behind. And now he vowed he would do anything to protect his people, even the one who does't want him or his help. Becca refused to forget or forgive Cole for abandoning her when she needed him most after her brother died in a freak accident. She couldn't trust Cole, not with her heart or her secret until she's faced with the truth that she needs him to become whole again before it's too late. Stumbling onto something that could endanger not only her but the entire population of Indian Mound if the truth ever came out, they fight to keep the secret of their people and find the path they were meant to share.

About the Author

I have always been fasinated by the Native American beliefs and culture so I used parts of differant cultures, lores and beliefs to depict the charaters I write about. I am a hopeless romantic married to another hopeless romantic and believe everyone else should be too! How doesn't love a good love story? I have an overly vivid imagination which makes for some interesting story lines when I least expect it! I have travelled stateside and overseas and have used some of those experiances to make the stories more real. I have lived in Idaho for the last 13 years where the deserts, mountains and everything in between has given me a lot of my inspiration and triggering my imagination. I work in a manufactoring plant and surprisingly some of my characters are actually based on some of my co-workers, their mannerisms and/or physical appearance. When I'm not reading or writing I am doing needle work, taking care of our 4 dogs and 6 baby calves or just spending time sharing my ideas with my husband (when I'm not picking his brain for information!).
