About the Book

It’s been a fun summer for golden retriever Stella Doggy, but now it’s time to go back to school. She can’t wait! After all, she’s finally in the third grade at Dory Elementary, a school for dogs and frogs. Along with her best friend, Frogina, she’s going to make it the best year ever.

Stella thinks she’s the queen of her class. She doesn’t mind bossing around the other dogs and frogs, and her bossiness just might get her into trouble. But whether she’s looking for a missing bone, organizing a birthday party, or trying to be a ballerina, Stella never fails to learn valuable lessons about what is important in life.

Mingyan (Stephanie) Jiang is twelve years old and currently lives in Toronto, Canada. She wrote Stella Doggy because she loves to draw and write. This is the first book in her Stella Doggy series.
