About the Book
The Influenza Pandemic Response Plan for Office Buildings has been established as an operational guideline for building services designed to respond to a variety of emergency pandemic situations.
This is a comprehensive look at the steps commercial real estate professionals can take to protect a building and its occupants. This manual has also been designed to address situations when a specific person in charge is not able to carry out his/her duties.
About the Author
Karen Bates has written many manuals for the commercial real estate properties that she has managed during her 39 year career. When the need surfaced for an influenza pandemic manual, a comprehensive guide did not seem to exist. Having managed many medical facilities, the type of research she performed and resources she acquired helped formulate this manual.
Her professional accomplishments include being honored as certified property manager of the year by the local IREM Chapter; and serving on the boards of Cleveland Area Board of Realtors (CABOR), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Karen resides in Ohio; and loves to travel and hike in her spare time.
